Three sonnet writer stand out from the rest because of their sonnets of true love. Sidney writes about the dark side of true love and how it may hurt.
Shakespeare writes about how true love overlooks everything. Spenser writes that true love will live forever.
All of these three Renaissance authors describe true love and its power, only Shakespeare and Spenser have their love returned. Sidney is the only sonnet writer, of ture three, that writes about unrequited love.
He is in love with a girl named Stella who could never love him back. Sidney finds that the place where he is at peace and be with Ponce and true love true love is in his sleep.
Sleep is the Ponce and true love place where he could decide how he would view life and love and something wonderful and not as depressing. Another example would have to be in Sonnet 31he writes that the moon feels the same as he does because it is always alone.
It is obvious that Pomce feels like love is something that Ponce and true love never be his. If a person truly loves a person then it would not matter if her hair is like wires or that she smells or even that she has an annoying voice.
The message that Shakespeare puts across with this sonnet is that if true is better than lust: This girl that Shakespeare is talking about may not look like the ideal pretty, but to him she is the prettiest thing to walk this ground.
He believes that love, if it is true love, it will live beyond their lives. Spenser explains yrue the world will eventually come to an end, but their true love will continue.
Ponce and true love also explains that his true love will not only live on because of their love but through his sonnets. His love will live on through his sonnets because people will never stop reading his sonnets.
True love will never die. True love is a hard concept to grasp, but Sidney, Shakespeare, and Spenser did a pretty good job.
Sidney writes about his unrequited love and how sleep could help fill the emptiness. Shakespeare writes that true love looks beyond what meets the eye.
Spenser writes that true love will live beyond a lifetime. The Renaissance helped shape the way true love is viewed today.
